sardines

Amaze and deceive your friends into thinking its just good ol’ tuna salad with this yummy power house of an easy fixings food recipe!
All organic Ingredients:
3 cans smoked sardines in olive oil (get them at Trader Joe’s)
2 or 3 celery stalks finely chopped (depending on your taste preferences)
1/4 quarter cup onions, finely chopped
Capers to taste – I used about half a jar cause I love em’
1/4 to 1/2 cup roasted sliced almonds (Trader Joe’s has these by the bag for about 3 bucks) Just roasted and sliced almonds. No other ingredients. Once you taste them, you’ll put them on everything!
3 large dill pickles finely chopped
2 tbsp. fresh dill
1 large spatula scoop of Follow Your Heart Soy Free Vegenaise. (I can’t find this anywhere except Whole Foods in the refrigerated section)
3 tbsp. organic mustard
Occasionally, I will add chunks of fresh avocado
Fresh ground pepper to taste
Mix well with the spatula and serve plain or scoop onto iceberg lettuce leaves and enjoy!
